Anyone who has tried to crack Pound knows it is difficult going with all of his allusions and his affinities for retelling stories of old troubadors, etc. Froula gives the context for the New Directions edition of Pound's Selected Poems and has informative notes on many words, phrases, and lines that contain more meaning than is possible to grasp 5/5(3).
